About

Nathalie Almira is a professional actor, comedian, model and writer from the Netherlands.

Throughout her life, Nathalie has always been fascinated by languages and the art of storytelling. These interests slowly transitioned from reading about Greek Mythology in high school to studying English Language & Culture at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating, she decided to live abroad to improve her language skills and experience different cultures. During her travels, Nathalie developed a keen interest in the human mind and the different ways to express emotions. This led her to write short stories and explore the world of screenwriting.

“By learning about the human psyche
and human emotions,
the craft of acting allows me to create harmony
in my mind, body and spirit.”
(Nathalie Almira)

From there on it was only a matter of time before she decided to put her proverbial pen aside (because handwriting is prehistoric. Tablet’s Facebook it), and moved to performing stories on stage and in front of the camera. Acting it was and is. Stand up comedy it was and is. Writing it was…and still is! (Remember the pen was only put aside)

Nathalie loves to analyze scripts and bring words and characters to life. Strong, complex characters with multiple layers is what she desires to play and aims to successfully portray. She believes humor is key in acting as well as in life and can be found in any given circumstance.

She has completed various theatre and screen acting courses in Singapore, the Netherlands and the UK. Her trainings include Lee Strasberg Method, Suzuki, Viewpoints, ReFocusMethod, Improv and Stand up. Just recently she has finished a Screen Acting Masterclass at the Actors Studio at Pinewood Studios London.

Nathalie Almira works as a professional actor and has played in several short films (Dutch and English), starred in corporate videos/commercials and has walked alongside actor Aaron Paul as an LA Pedestrian on the HBO American hit show Westworld. (Not to brag of course)

She is currently looking for challenging roles and is available for bookings and/or castings.

In addition she works as a freelance writer, model and does stand up comedy.
